Prayer Day
Psalm 129:1-8
The LORD is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked (Psalm 129:4).
Today, we will pray for ourselves. Our God is righteous. We will ask Him to cut off the cords of the wicked from ourĀ lives. Why do we have to pray this kind of prayer? Friend, we
are living in a time of increasing wickedness and the enemy, Satan, is not relenting in inciting men to do evil. But our God is strong. He will plead our case (Jeremiah 50:34). He will turn their counsel into foolishness (2 Samuel 15:31). Let us pray.
1. Thank God for the opportunity to pray and access Him as our helper.
2. Praise God for all the many blessings that you have received this month- protection, provision, healing, deliverances and favors.
3. Praise God for the opportunity He gave you to be among the living.
4. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you to pray.
5. Plead the blood of Jesus and put on the whole armor of Christ.
6. Ask the Lord to cut into pieces any cord the enemy has used to hold you down.
7. Pray that the wickedness of the wicked will come to an end (see Psalm 7:9).
8. Pray that the Lord will establish you in righteousness.
9. Pray for clarity and direction for the new month.
10. Pray for protection, provision and health for your family.
11. Pray for me that I will remain strong in health. Thank you.
