Obedience Is The Key

Deuteronomy 11:10-15
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today… then I will send rain on your land in its season … so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil (Deuteronomy  1:13-14, NIV).

I am excited about what God is doing in our lives and how He is working in us through the Holy Spirit to teach us and unfold divine truths to us. To Him be all the glory.

The word for this month is obedience. The key to continuous productivity in life and in the kingdom is obedience. When we maintain our walk with the Lord and obey His commands, He will help us and bless us. Many of us wonder how can I love God and obey Him. But the answer is not hidden. The command is to “love the LORD your God and serve him with all your heart and soul”  (Deuteronomy 11:13).

When all that we do is focused on bringing glory to God, then our heart and soul has found the missing link to greatness in life. When we seek only what will please the Lord by loving our neighbors as ourselves and honoring God with our lives, then we are walking in His love and obedience.

Friend, God wants to bless us. When we do our part, God will do His part. Then His word in verse 14 will come to pass. “He will send the rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil”. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Thank God for His love and plan for your life.
  • Pray for yourself as you commit the new month unto His able hands.
  • Ask Him to guide and lead you in loving Him with all your heart, soul and mind.

Song: We lift Your Name on High. Like the banner in the sky.
