He Will Be With You
Isaiah 43:1-4
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2).
My heart rejoices as I read through today’s passage because I know that God created me and formed me in my mother’s womb. He knows what I would become before He created me. All my days are written in His book (Psalm 139:1416).
Friend, we are precious to God. He told us, “You were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life” (Isaiah 43:4). Since this is true then there is no reason to doubt what He said in our focal text.
He said, “I created you, don’t fear. I will be with you. No matter the situation that you find yourself, be it in the fire or water, I am there with you. Because I am God and I am for you”. Alleluia!
You see, until we begin to see ourselves the way God sees us and appropriate the blessings that are hidden in the precious promises that we have from Him, our lives may not be different from that of the unbelievers around us.
Yet, that is not what God intended. God wants to distinguish us and show the world that we are His own. Receive His word and act on it because it is true. May the Lord bless your heart as you think on these things. Shalom.
Your Turn
