God Is Creating Something New

Isaiah 43:18-21
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?
Isaiah 43:18-19

When I read this passage in the Contemporary English Version, I was blessed. I had hope because it made
meaning to me and the circumstances that are facing me during the time of my writing. God says, “Forget what happened long ago! Don’t think about the past. I am creating something new. There it is! Do you see it? I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands” (Isaiah 43:18-19, CEV), Hallelujah!

Friend, God is a good God. He is the God of new things. To Him there is no impossibility. If you think there is no way, look to God. He will make a way for you. If you do not see a way of escape, do not believe the lie. God will create roads in the desert for you to move ahead.

God has promised you. His word says, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Amen.

Friend, I choose to believe God. I choose to receive this word and look to the Lord that He will do new things in my life. He will make a way of escape and set me on my high places. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Can you see God doing what He promises in this passage? Do you believe He has the power to create streams in thirty lands for you?
  • Ask the Lord to fulfil these promises in your life.

Song: Be it unto me according to Your word.
