Be Established In Righteousness

Isaiah 54:11-17
In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you (Isaiah 54:14).

What a joy to read through God’s word and let it wash our soul and give us peace of mind. I love the words of today’s prophecy. I find joy and peace in it. Through these words, I am reminded that God is for me and not against me. He is among those who help me (See Psalm 118:7).

In our focal text, we could see that when we are established in righteousness- know and understand what Christ has died to provide for us – we have a lot to benefit. This includes:

1. Being far from oppression. It means when situations, persons and satan seek to harass or embarrass us, the effect they expect to see will not happen. Why? We are calm and quiet as the Father goes to battle on our behalf.
2. We shall not fear. We have the power of control. The peace of God is standing as the moderator for our soul.
3. Terror will not come near us. Is this not what we all want? Is this not the prayer that the whole world is praying at the moment? It is time for believers to pray and enforce the benefits of our righteousness in our environment.

Friend, if God says we shall be far from oppression He means it. Believe God and walk in the truth of His word. God cannot lie. His word will produce the results that He promised. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Declare His word over your life: I am established in righteousness. I shall be far from oppression for I shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near me and my family. It shall not come into my city and my nation in Jesus’ Name.

Song: Adonai, I bless Your Name.
