Delete The Fear File

Isaiah 41:1-13
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

In this prophecy, we could see how Prophet Isaiah eulogizes the power of God. His word disperses the fears we may have because it reveals the greatness and power of our God. It demonstrates to  us that God is in charge of the affairs of this world. Hence, we don’t have to fear or panic when we see what we do not understand in our domain.

While everyone is panicking and calling their neighbors to seek after other gods for help, God says, “But you, Israel, are My servant … Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:8,10).

Friend, that is the word of the Lord for us too today. God has not cast us away. We should not cast away our faith and confidence in Him.

Friend, delete the fear file from your heart. Do not open the door for fear. Stay calm. Know that your God is in charge. Open your mouth and declare, “Fear not, my soul. We are in charge because God is in charge. All will be well. This situation will work for my good and my God will be glorified”. Stop being afraid of those whom God says will be as nothing because He will help us to fight them and overcome. This is how to be established in righteousness. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Praise God for this word.
  • Thank Him for what He has done for us in Christ Jesus so we could be established in righteousness.
