Isaiah 40:27-31
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31, NLT).

Whenever I am weak and feeling low either emotionally or spiritually, I have always found strength in the word of God. One of His words that keep me going in the time of doubt is Isaiah 26:3. The Lord has everlasting strength and He is willing to give them to me when I trust Him to do so.

It therefore makes sense when the prophet asked why the children of Jacob thought that God did not care for them or see what they were going through. It is because they did not remember who God was to their forefathers and how much He loved them.

Friend, our God is not like other gods. He is the Lord God Almighty. No matter what we are going through we must not doubt God’s love for us. He cares and wants us to live well. See 3 John 2. When we trust in the Lord, we will find new strength to face the challenge each day brings.

If we need to fly, God can handle it. If you need to walk, God will provide the strength to do so and if what you need is the grace to run, God is able to make all grace abound to you. May you find new strength in the Lord today as you trust Him with your whole heart and life. Shalom.
