The Lord God In Our Midst
Zephaniah 3:14-20
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Psalm 32:8.
What a joy to conclude this small book with words of comfort from the Lord. In the passage we read, we are
commanded to sing and be glad. We are encouraged to rejoice with all our heart because of the goodness of the Lord and His faithfulness.
Why are we to rejoice? We do so because:
1. The Lord has taken away our judgments. He has forgiven our sins.
2. He has cast away our enemy.
3. We will see disaster no more.
4. There is no need to fear because God is with us.
5. God is rejoicing over us with singing. We must do the same too.
6. God promises more healing and restoration.
7. God promises to afflict our afflicters. When God promises a thing, we can go to sleep because it is good as done.
8. Fame and praise are coming into our city.
Friend, we serve a great God. Let us believe Him because He will His words to us and our nation. Let us rejoice and be glad in Him. Let us keep our garment white and walk in righteousness. All will be well.
Your Turn
- Worship the Lord for His plan of restoration and healing.
- Sing before the Lord today because He is rejoicing over you with singing.
