The Final Section

Isaiah 40:21-31
Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?
Isaiah 40:27.

When you are discouraged, look to the Lord.
When you are feeling low, look to the Lord
When your hope is gone, look to the Lord.
He is the God of all comfort.
He knows and understands.

Friend, God understands us. He knows what we need. He knows us intimately. The Psalmist says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139: 13, NIV). Apostle Paul also writes, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we areyet he did not sin” (Hebrews 4:15, NIV).

Our God knows. Let us be careful that we do not give in to hopelessness and helplessness when we face life struggles and challenges. Let us be careful that we do not say like the Israelites God does not know. Hear Him: “Have you not
known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength” (Isaiah 40:28-29).

This is our God. Look to Him and be comforted. Look to Him and receive strength. He knows all about you and wants to help. Shalom.
