Presented Without Fault

Jude 24b
To him who is able … to present you before his glorious  presence without fault and with great joy (NIV).

Today, we move to the second part of the verse. Here we are told that God is able to “present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy” (Jude 24b). Beloved, I do not know about you but I am waiting for this promise to be fulfilled.

If you struggle with life and the challenge that believers face to remain faithful to the Lord, then you will look forward to the day you will appear before His glorious presence.  God’s power to present us faultless before His throne is available to everyone who believes in Him.

By the power in His blood and through the cleansing power in the word, God will “sanctify and cleanse her (that is, the church) with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5: 26-27).

Friend, this is something to rejoice about. God will fulfill His word. Christ will present us faultless because He has the power and authority to do so. May this word strengthen your heart and grant you more grace in Christ as you continue to contend for the truth that has been delivered unto you.

Shalom.
