Lord, I Want To Sing

Psalm 98:1- 6
Sing to the Lord a new song, because he has done miracles. By his right hand and holy arm he has won the victory. (Psalm 98:1, New Century Version).

n response to our Bible passage, we will take time to pray and praise God as we seek His face and plead with Him to cause us to sing too.

Let us petition heaven for the miracles and change we need. Let us come before the Lord with our strong reasons based on the word and ask Him to show mercy and help us. We will do these in the name of the Lord, standing on the work of atonement done on our behalf by the Lord Jesus Christ. We will plead the blood of Jesus and ask the Lord to arise on our behalf because we want to sing. See Psalm 68:13.

The psalmist writes, “Sing to the Lord a new song, because he has done miracles. By his right hand and holy arm he has won the victory” (Psalm 98:1, NCV). The command to sing a new song to the Lord is made because He has done miracles for them. It was because God has won the victory for them. We need this testimony too.

Friend, if you are not challenged, I am. I want to testify to the saving power of God and His victories in my life, family, nation and church. I want God to remember me and my own for good. So I will petition Him. How about you? Let us pray.

Your Turn

  • Pray: Lord, I want to sing. Turn my captivity around, cause     me to rejoice in life.
  • Pray that you will experience miracles that would cause you to testify and give Him praise.

Song: Its me, its me O Lord.
