Let Us Pray

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7,  NASB).

Paul was so consumed with the need to fight for the gospel that he said in another place, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses “ ( 1 Timothy 6:12).

Paul did what he advised us to do. He challenged us saying, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith” (vs.7, NASB).  Let us pray for grace. The times we are in are tough but we have a God who is able to help us and strengthen us.

  1. Thank God for the way He has led us so far and what we have learnt.
  2. Confess any known sin and ask for forgiveness.
  3. Pray for the grace to stand firm and fight the good fight.
  4. Pray that you will find courage and hope in God when you are faced with situations that seek to make you fall or deny God’s existence.
  5. Pray that you will not take the grace of God for granted.
  6. Pray that you will not encourage sin in other people around you.
  7. Pray that you will acknowledge the Lord Jesus as the sovereign Lord at all times.
  8. Thank God for hearing and answering you. We know He will.
