Philippians 4:19-20
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus
(Philippians 4:19).

We must be careful not to limit God with our thoughts and understanding of life based on our realities. It will be good if we begin to think about God and relate with Him with a mindset that He is a big God and He is limitless.

The God’s Word Translation present today’s focal text thus: “My

God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Jesus”. Please note the phrase “every need”. It tells me that my need does not have to be financial before God will fill it. If I need a partner, God can supply. If I need a friend or a favor, God can supply. It is every need.

Knowing this truth has helped me to relate with God on a more personal and realistic way. These days I talk to God like a friend and present my needs to Him knowing that He can do something about it. He is a rich God with whom nothing is impossible.

Friend, God’s ability to supply all our need is beyond human comprehension because He is the God of all sufficiency. That is why Paul said, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

May the Lord help you to understand this truth. Let us pray.
