Keep Learning
Proverbs 19:2a
It is not good for a soul to be without knowledge.
The Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). If we do not want to perish or experience lack in any area of our life, we must continue to learn new things with regard to our covenant rights in Him.
We must keep abreast of the facts in our career, business and studies too. The Bible says, “ It is not good for a soul to be without knowledge” (Proverbs 19:2a). If God says it is not good, it means it is not good. On the other hand, it means that if we continue to pursue the right knowledge and make use of it, our souls will be full of knowledge.
I have realized that sometimes we are lazy. We fail to do our part and we put everything on the Holy Spirit. Yet, what God does through His Spirit is to help us to understand and reveal new things to us. Therefore, pursue knowledge and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand it. Do your part and trust God to remind you of the truth that you know when the need arises.
Friend, look into your life and see the areas that you need to increase your knowledge. Do you have to go online and learn new things? Do you need to take short courses to improve your life? Think on these things. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Thank God for the challenge that comes from His word.
- Think about the areas that you need to gain or increase knowledge and ask for direction on how to do it.
- Pray that you will meet the right people who will help you to achieve this goal.
