Genesis 30:1-2; 22-24
Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach”( Genesis 30:22-23).

In this season, God will take away the reproach of many people and they will conceive as a result of their faith in the word of faith that they have been exposed to. I look forward to hearing your testimonies in the New Year that the Lord has added to your family. I will hear of how God visited your family and turned away the reproach the enemy has placed on you.

It does not matter the type and the cause of your barrenness, God can overturn it. God is able to overrule primary and secondary infertility and cause you to conceive. Rachel cried to her husband to give her children, but Jacob told her I am not God. “He said, “Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Fast forward many years later. God did what only He can do. He remembered Rachel. We were told in our focal text: “Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. And she conceived and bore a son, and said, ‘God has taken away my reproach’ ” (Genesis 30:22-23). Only God can do that.

Friend, may the Lord remember you and your family today in Jesus’ Name. May the Lord who gives children make you fruitful so that you can testify that He provides children as Jehovah Jireh.
