He Provides Children
Luke 1:5-25
But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years (Luke 1:7).
God is still in the business of providing children for those who need it. I am a living testimony to the power of God in this area. What was a deliberate spacing became a secondary infertility. After some years of praying, I told God I was okay with the ones He gave me. He should not bother again.
But someone was praying for me. God showed up when we least expected. I conceived again and had children. I became so fertile that my gynaecologists were concerned; and because of age, they were not too keen for me to have more kids. That is the power of God that opens the door of fruitfulness.
Friend, God can remove your barrenness and give you children. Many of us who are praying for children are not as old as Elizabeth and Sarah, yet God answered them. Mrs. Manoah conceived Samson because God turned around her barrenness.
Zechariah had lost hope due to their age but God said, “It is my time and I will do the impossible. The son you will have will be my instrument. He will have multiple assignments and bring joy to you”. See Luke 1: 14-17.
Friend, God will do it for you too. Continue to pray. Trust God as the God who provide children and He will surprise you. See Psalm 127:3-5. Shalom.
