God Will Do It

1 Thessalonians 5:23 – 24
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23, NIV).

Since God is able to keep us from falling, then I am persuaded that He is able to sanctify us and keep us blameless for Himself too. The Bible says, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy” (Jude 24).

Therefore, I could relate with Paul’s prayer when he said, “May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23, NIV). Our God is interested in us. He wants us to stand strong as believers and make it to the end.

Friend, I am not afraid as long as I remain in the Rock, I will be kept safe. You see, all we need to do is to be ardent believers and stand for our God. All we have to do is to continue to trust God to work in us and our behalf.

Philippians 2:13 says, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (NIV). Since God is at work in me and I am in Him, I will be kept safe and blameless at the coming of the Lord Jesus. Today, be encouraged by this word because Jesus Himself promised to keep you safe. See John 10:29. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Praise God for the plan to keep you blameless for Himself.
  • Pray that you will continue to walk with Him and remain in the cleft of the Rock.
