2 Thessalonians 2:16 -17
God loved us, and through his grace he gave us a good hope and encouragement that continues forever (2 Thessalonians 2:17, New Century Version).

Reading through today’s passage brings joy to my heart.

It is good to know that God has given us eternal encouragement and hope. Since God has given them to us all we have to do is to activate them by our faith.

When Paul prayed that Jesus and God our Father will encourage our hearts, I believe it. When He says God can strengthen us in every good deed and word, I believe it. Because He is God and nothing is impossible for Him. It is through Him that we can do all things.

Friend, all we have to do is to receive this word, believe it and act that it is so. God has given us eternal encouragement. We have hope that we will make heaven by the reason of salvation.

While we are still here, He is able to and He will continue to encourage our hearts no matter the challenge and the trials that we are going through. God will strengthen us so that we can continue to do good and shine as light in the world to the glory of His Name.

This is the joy I have today, may you be blessed by it and may your heart be filled with the same joy. Shalom.
