Commit Your Way To The Lord

Psalm 37:1-11
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass (Psalm 37:5).

While many of us are excited about the incoming year, some of us are definitely apprehensive, not knowing what would happen. This is normal. The truth is that each year comes with its surprises, challenges, trials and successes. But our God has been faithful and He will continue to be faithful in every way.

Do not deny the concerns that you have; rather, be willing to take them to the Lord. He will help you to sail through the year safely. Let us pray.

  1. Thank God for His love for you.
  2. Thank Him for all He has done and the work of His Spirit in your life this year.
  1. Thank Him for the trying times He has seen you through.
  2. Thank God for Jesus and for the power of the cross in your life.
  3. Talk to God about your concerns and desires for the incoming year.
  4. Affirm your faith in the promises that God has given you for the New Year.
  5. Redeem each day of the New Year, as you pray for the faith to stand for Christ throughout the year.
  6. Pray for peace in your family.

Your Turn

  • Pray that all will go well with them in the New Year.
  • Pray for me and my family that we will enjoy the blessings of the Lord. Thank you. Thank God for loving you forever.

Song:  You deserve the glory and the honour.
