Joshua 10:1-14
Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you (Joshua 10:8).

Friend, there is no need to be afraid of tomorrow because the Lord will stand by us and fight our enemies for us.  What He did in the day of Joshua He can do today. So it is in our hands to believe and obey when He leads us.

It may be that the enemy has conspired with evil thinkers and dreamers to stop your progress or attack you because you are a man of peace. Do not worry, their plans will not prosper.  God will send you a Joshua who will come to your aid and help you to fight them.

Isaiah 8:9-10 declares, “Be broken, you peoples, and be dismayed; give ear, all you far countries; gird yourselves and be dismayed; gird yourselves and be dismayed. Take counsel together, but it will come to nought; speak a word, but it will not stand, for God is with us”. This is the word of the Lord. Receive it and it will work for you. Let us pray.

1. Thank God for His word of hope to you.
2. Declare the Lordship of the Lord on all the days of the New Year.
3. Speak to creation to work in your favour and not    against you.
4. Ask the Lord to raise men and women of influence to help and bless you.
5. Pray that you will be a Joshua and a blessing to many in the New Year.
