Arise, Go Over

Joshua 1:2
Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people …” (Joshua 1:2).

Friend, I do not know what Moses represents in your life, but the Spirit of the Lord is saying, “Moses My servant is
dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people…” (Joshua 1:2).

You cannot afford to allow what is now dead to hinder your progress. You cannot afford to become fixated at one level of growth in life. It has never been God’s choice for us to be stagnant. No matter where you are now there are greater heights and depths for you to go. The Bible says, “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18). That is God’s plan and best for you.

Your Moses may be God’s servant, a job, a career, a position or location. But now God says, “The season is over. I am leading you into another season”. Be wise. Move on and do what God says. When we see the cloud of glory, it is time to move. Shame, disgrace, and unnecessary attacks come when we fail to move when God says move.

Pray and listen to what God is saying to you. Are you being led to change your career, take on a new role or job, go to school or relocate? It is time to go over the Jordan. The Lord will meet you. He will perform miracles that will amaze you. Shalom.

Your Turn
