Consecration Demand

John 17:14-19
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
John 17:16

We live in the world, but we are not of the world. We need to understand this and live accordingly. That is why Jesus prayed to the Father, “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:14).

Friend, I sense in my spirit that the Lord is demanding holy consecration from us. He wants us to be separated unto Him and be His ambassadors. It is time to live as the chosen and called out ones. Let us be sanctified by the word and live by it. When we do, our lives and actions will be different because we are living by the rules of heaven not that of the flesh or man.

You see, if we are going to be good and able witnesses for the Lord, we must change our ways. How can we make a
difference living the way we are right now? We cannot because “a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad
tree bear good fruit” (Matthew 7:18). For many of us, the fruit we bear does not match the faith we profess.

If we are going to do business with and for the Lord, we must repent of our wicked ways and consecrate ourselves
to Him. Think of these things. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Reflect on your ways and let the Lord show you the need for consecration.
