The Year Of Increase

Exodus 1:8-20
But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.
Exodus 1:12

The year 2020 is the year of increase because God’s word will never fail. He has promised that “While the earth
remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22). It does not matter what is going on we will continue to experience God’s increase.

Despite the attacks and the persecutions we will face, God will continue to support His own and surprise us with His blessings. When I was given this word, the Lord reminded me of the story of the Jews in Exodus Chapter 1. The Bible says, “But the harder the Egyptians forced the Israelites to work, the more the Israelites grew in number and spread out. So the Egyptians became very afraid of them” (Exodus 1:12, NCV).

God will do the same thing for us if we hold on to Him. We will experience an increase when we follow the principles of work and obedience. The Lord will grant us an increase because we trust Him to do so. He will give us the grace to multiply and spread because we stand by Him. The enemy will be afraid of us too. This is already happening in some parts of the world that is why they have continued to scheme to remove believers from positions of power and influence.

May the Lord help us as we receive this word and act on it. Shalom.
