Jeremiah 31:7-9
Tears of joy will stream down their faces, and I will lead them home with great care. They will walk beside quiet streams and on smooth paths where they will not stumble (Jeremiah 31:9, NLT).

When God restores, He touches every area of our lives. Our homes and families will experience His touch. He will also ensure that our world feel the impact of His restoration.

Prophet Joel testified to this in Joel 2:21-24 when he says, “Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things!” (Joel 2:21). The land knew God had visited its owner.

In the same vein, prophet Jeremiah prophesied of the great things the Lord would do following the restoration of the Jews. Because we are spiritual Jews we can claim these promises by faith and we will experience them too.

The Lord spoke through him saying, “Tears of joy will stream down their faces, and I will lead them home with great care. They will walk beside quiet streams and on smooth paths where they will not stumble” (vs.9, NLT).

Friend, to walk by the rivers of water is to walk in peace and fruitfulness. Remember what the psalmists say in Psalm 1 and 23 respectively. When God lead us we will not stumble because He will lead us in the path of righteousness. These are promises to receive and claim. I believe we need to pray and ask God to do this for us. Shalom.
