You Will Not Be Moved
Psalm 55:22b
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved (NLT).
Continuing from where we stopped yesterday, I want to add more thought that I believe would help us to trust the Lord and cast our cares on Him. The psalmist writes that God will never permit the righteous to be moved.
To be moved is to stubble, it is to slip and fall. But God says when we call on Him in our troubles, cast our cares on Him and give Him our burdens, He will sustain us. Not only that, He will ensure our safety. When the trouble we are in or the situation of concern is all over, we will still be standing because we are His righteousness in Christ Jesus. We have the robe of His righteousness on us (Isaiah 60:10).
Friend, this is a point for rejoicing because you know God is for you all the way. He will not allow you to fall and fail in life. I sense in my heart that this is a word for someone and as we go through the second half of this year, God will surprise you. He will lift you up and make you a testimony. You shall testify.
God will make a way of escape and we will be victorious. See 1 Corinthians 10:13. You will not be moved. Our God will sustain you. Go out with this word today and win. Shalom.
