Psalm 8:1-8
You have made him a little lower than yourself. You have crowned him with glory and honor (Psalm 8:5, God’s Word Translation).

Friend, you are a royalty. God, our Father, has crowned you with glory and honor. Therefore, walk like it. You are not a victim. You are a victor. You are the son and daughter of the Most High God. By virtue of our redemption, God has made you a king and a priest unto Himself. See Revelation 1:6.

With this understanding, we can receive the word for today in our focal text. The Bible says, “You have made him a little lower than yourself. You have crowned him with glory and honor (vs.5, God’s Word Translation). That is who you are. God has placed a crown of honor on you! Wow! This thought is wonderful.

Live each day with confidence. Do not allow any man to put you down. Decide and choose to remain where God has placed you – a royal priesthood. You are the apple of God’s eye. Call yourself who God says you are.

It does not matter the color of your skin, your race or educational background. What matters most is that the Creator of the universe breathes His life into you. You are His child and His favor is on you. You belong to the King’s order. No one has the right to call you whom you are not without your permission. Receive this word and run with it today.
