Year Of Help

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

In a time when the hearts of men are failing them, we need the help of the Lord. We need the Lord’s intervention to be able to stand strong and live as believers. The Lord says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Friend, the Lord will help us as we look to Him. He is a very present help in the time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). It means before trouble occurs God is already there. He is our very present help. He is never failing.

What are the things we need to do to access God’s help?

  1. Banish fear. Do not allow any situation or circumstances to scare you. Why? God is with you (Hebrews 13:5-6).
Look to God. He is bigger than any problem or circumstances.
  2. Do not worry. To be dismayed is to allow your situation or someone to cause you to feel very worried, disappointed or upset. It is to lose courage or faith. We must avoid this because we have been commanded not to worry. See Phil.4:6., Matthew 6:31-34.
  3. Focus on what God will do. Expect Him to show up. Your faith and expectations will draw His attention. He will help you and strengthen you. He will uphold you. There is no need to fear. Shalom.
