Isaiah 26:1-6
Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation (Isaiah 26:1, NLT).

Today, we have another opportunity to pray for our nation. We will pray and prophecy the good things we want to happen in our land. The bad and ugly situations in our nations are obvious for everyone to see. But we can pray and call forth good things into existence. We can open our mouths wide and pray for the kind of nation we desire under God. Let us pray.

1. Thank God for the privilege to pray for our nation.
2. Thank Him for His mercies over the nation.
3. Thank Him for the rain and sunshine. Many countries are experiencing great famine.
4. Confess your sins and those of your country and the leaders.
5. Plead the blood of Jesus over the nation.
6. Declare that your nation is strong because that is what you want.
7. Open your mouth wide and declare great things for the nation – pray for the economy, leadership, peace and development.
8. Pray for wisdom for heads of parastatals, organizations and businesses.
9. Ask the Lord to surround the nation with His salvation.
10. Declare a cessation to terrorist activities, insurgencies, ethnic and religious wars.
11. Pray for peace in the land.
12. Thank God for answered prayers.
