Think Highly Of Our God
Isaiah 40:10-26
“To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One (Isaiah 40:25).
The Lord He is God. There is no one like Him. Those who know Him bow before Him. They cast their crowns andworship Him because they know He is the Lord.
Isaiah saw Him and cried out that he is a man of unclean lips. See Isaiah 6. Hannah experienced Him and declared, “There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God” (1 Samuel 2: 2, KJV). When the Israelites crossed the Red Sea they sang, “Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11, KJV).
Friend, let us think highly of our God and reverence Him. Let us laud Him for His greatness and celebrate Him for His faithfulness. Let us open our mouths in our daily conversations and let the world know that we serve a great God. Our God is not dead. He is the Living God and He influences the affairs of men.
We cannot compare Him with any other god; He is God all by Himself. We need Him to exist but He does not need us to exist. He is the self-existing One. May we think highly of Him and find strength and joy in declaring to the world that our God reigns. Shalom.
