The Stone Has Been Rolled Away

Mark 16:1-7
And they said among themselves, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great (Mark 16:3-4, KJV).

When Mary and her friends approached the tomb of Jesus that day, they were worried. Along with the pain they carried was the concern they have about stone that was laid at the entrance of the tomb. They wondered who would roll away the stone for them to gain access to Jesus’ body for embalmment.

Unknown to them, God had taken care of it. He had sent an angel ahead of them to roll the stone away. The Bible says, “And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great” (Mark 16:4).

Friend, I sense that many of us are worried about what the year 2018 would be like. We are concerned about our dreams and visions. And like Mary and her friends, the stone on the way of our progress are very great. But God says I have rolled them away. Just look to me.

Please do not allow the fear of what could go wrong keep you in the same spot. Do not allow the fear of ‘stones’ or obstacles hinder you from moving forward. The Lord has planned to visit you and restore your broken walls.

Face the obstacle and it will surprise you that help will be available to you when you need it. May the Lord grant you faith to rejoice in this word in Jesus’ Name. Shalom.
