The Mountain Of The Lord

Isaiah 2:1-5
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains …
Isaiah 2:2.

Today’s Bible reading is one of the popular sections of the book of Isaiah. The same message was repeated by
Prophet Micah in Micah 4:1-5. This tells us of its importance. It confirms the word of the Lord and the future of the house of God.

Friend, God has a good plan for His house, the church. He has a bright and glorious plan for us. Let us not be discouraged by the increase in false religions and conversion to other faiths. Our focus must be to stand in Christ to the end. The glory that will come upon the church in the future is unprecedented. The Lord of glory, Jesus Christ, will receive all the glory from His creation.

What are we to do while we wait for this time? We must be ready and do the needful. The Bible says, “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it” (Isaiah 2:2).

The question is are we ready? The people that are coming are hungry for God and they need to be fed. They are hungry for the glory of God. Worship leaders must hone their skills and host the presence of the Lord. Let us be prepared. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Praise God for His glorious plan for His church.
  • Pray for us to be ready when the people who are hungry come seeking the Lord.

Song: Let Your glory fall in this place.
