Tell Them: Rejoice Not

Micah 7:8
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.

Aughey writes, “God brings men into deep waters, not to drown them, but to cleanse them”. If you believe that this is true then you can be bold to face your enemy and tell them, “Rejoice not because it is not over. God’s word will come to pass in my life. I will rise again”.

Why? It is because the word of God says so. “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me” (Micah 7:8).

Friend, one of the things I have noticed in recent times is that the rate at which believers confess the word of God is decreasing. We seem to have moved from the extreme of positive confession that was pervasive some time ago in the body of Christ, to the extreme of almost no confession at all.

It appears the enemy is winning the battle in making sure that we say nothing. We have become so timid and find it difficult to say who we are, what we believe and what we know about Christ Jesus. The last time I checked, timidity is not synonymous with tolerance.

If you say nothing, you will have nothing. It is time to rise up and confess the word of God.  Let the enemy know who you are and what you know in Christ. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Praise God for this word.
  • Pray that your faith will receive this word and you will begin to do what it teaches.
