Ephesians 2:1-10; 2 Corinthians 1:24
For by faith you stand (2 Corinthians 1:24).

I love the way Apostle Paul writes his letters. Several times, he writes as someone who is presenting an argument in order to convince his audience that what he is saying is true and good for the people.

In Ephesians, we are told that by faith we were saved because God who is merciful planned it that way. In Corinthians, he said to another group not only are you saved by faith but you must stand firm in it. He said, “For by faith you stand” (1 Corinthians 1:24).

Friend, I agree with him and that is why John Newton, the writer of the song, “Amazing Grace” could write, “’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home”. Let our faith in God sustain us through our life challenges.

God saved us through faith in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. Let us continue in the same faith. Let us trust God to save us to the uttermost. The Bible says, “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25).

With this fact in mind, we can rejoice and stand in hope that God will save us no matter what satan and the antichrist plans to do in this end time. Shalom.
