Shoot The Arrow

Isaiah 49:1-6
He made my words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. I am  like a sharp arrow in his quiver (Isaiah 49:2, NLT).

This year we must declare what God has decreed in His word. For us to succeed we must know the word of God and use it in life battles. When we do, we will win as promised in Joshua 1:8.

Many times, believers have been defeated or rendered powerless because we failed to do what we ought to do. We
failed to pray and declare the word of God with faith so that we can win. If He says, “no weapon”, then declare it. If He says you will prosper, and your sins are forgiven, believe it and declare it.

When the enemy seeks to shoot you privately or send an arrow towards you, all you must do is to shoot the arrow of
God’s word in your mouth. Use it as a sword and fight. The prophet declares, “He made my words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. I am like a sharp arrow in his quiver” (Isaiah 49:2).

Friend, your mouth is a sword, sharpen it with God’s word and use it as a weapon. When you are faced with a difficult situation bring out your sword and use it as arrow. Strike the enemy. Remember, God’s word in your mouth will dry up trees; it will cause the dry bones to rise again. Think on these things and act. Shalom.
