Safe In His Care
Psalm 127:1-2; Jude 1b
I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ (Jude 1b, New Living Translation).
is good to be alive this month as we continue to enjoy God’s faithfulness in preserving our lives. Being alive is evidence that we are relevant to His scheme of things here on earth. When our work is done we will be called home and be with the Lord forever.
This month, I encourage you to rest in God, trust Him and keep your faith strong in Him. You are “called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ” (Jude 1b, New Living Translation).
Having faced many persecutions and heard of what other believers around the world were facing, Jude encouraged his audience.
He assured them that no matter what happens God loves them and they are safe in the hands of the Lord. We must take courage in this word too. It may be that your challenge is a personal one, or national as in the case of the ongoing economic recession or political uncertainty in many parts of the world. No need to fear. God will keep us safe.
No matter the game and the intimidations by North Korea and the world powers, we know that if God be for us no one can be against us. See Romans 8:31; Psalm 105: 14-15. Keep these words on your mind and be at rest. Shalom.
Your Turn
