Psalm 129:1-8
Let all those who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned back.
Psalm 129:5.

I love the Lord and His word. When I read Psalm 129: 4-6, I rejoice in Him again. The Bible says, “The Lord is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked. Let all those who hate Zion be put to shame and turned back. Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up!” Wow!

I am happy to have a God who knows how to cut the chains of the enemy from my neck. The good news is that if God has done it before, then, He can do it again. We will pray and ask God to do it again. Read Psalm 129. Let it prompt you to pray with passion.

1. Father, thank you for drawing me unto prayer today.
2. Thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ and my salvation.
3. Father, do not allow my enemies to prevail over me in 2020.
4. O God, let your fire consume the enemy’s arrow(s) directed at you.
5. Ask the Lord to be your defence. Use Zechariah 2:5 to pray.
6. Pray that the Lord will order your steps in the New Year.
7. Father, put my enemies to shame and glorify yourself in my life.
8. Pray that the enemy of the church will be turned back and put to shame.
9. Pray for Nigeria. The light of the gospel will not grow dim.
10. Give thanks to God. He will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we have asked.
