Prayer Day
Deuteronomy 33:6
Let Reuben live, and not die, nor let his men be few (Deuteronomy 33:6).
Friend, as we move on in the month, we must get our confessions right and say the right prayers. One of such
prayers is the one in our focal text. Moses lifted his voice and declared over Reuben saying, “Let Reuben live, and not die, nor let his men be few” (Deuteronomy 33:6). This prayer reversed the curse placed on him by Jacob, his father in
Genesis 49:3-4. I challenge us to make the same declaration and pray to the Lord today. “How can I do it?” you ask. Well, here it is. Replace the word “Reuben” with your name, family name, children and business or career. Then pray as follows:
1. Thank God for the light of His word.
2. Praise Him for the gift of life.
3. Cover yourself, family, business and career with the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ.
4. Confess any known sin.
5. Declare the word: “Father, let me live and not die in the year 2019”.
6. Pray: “Father, help me not to be slow and weary. Help me to work hard as you intended. Enlarge my coast in
2019. Let the work of my hands prosper in Jesus’ Name”.
7. Now replace your name with others as mentioned.
8. Thank God for answered prayers.
Your Turn
- Praise the Lord because you will see answers to your prayers.
