Our Common Salvation Is At Stake
Galatians 5: 7-15
A little leaven leavens the whole lump (Galatians 5:9).
Error not confronted and corrected will spread. That is why we cannot afford to be quiet. In the world of quality management and assurance, zero defects is the goal. This aim is to eliminate waste and reduce defects to the level of zero in projects. It ensures achieving projects to quality standards based on the operating procedures.
In the same way, God has handed down to us the truth in His word. If we do not apply it and use it to test what we hear, we may fall into error. But when we know it and use it appropriately we will stand firm and help others.
Paul wrote, “You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you” (Galatians 5:7). The reason they fell into this error was because they allowed these perpetrators of the law to gain entrance into their minds and convinced them that they had to obey the law.
Sometimes, the enemy is predictable. He will use the same thing against us in our time. Apostle Paul warned, “These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh” (Colossians 2:23).
Friend, if we fail to fight, then our common salvation will be at stake.
Your Turn
- Pray for yourself, your church and fellow believers to stand firm.
- Pray for me and my team that we will continue to stand firm in the truth of the word of God. Thank you.
