Psalm 71:7
I have become as a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge (Psalm 71:7).

I love the psalmist’s declaration in this psalm. He said, “I have become as a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge” (Psalm 71:7). He recognized the wonders of God in his life which in turn has
made him a wonder to many.

The author recognized what God had done and why He needed God to deliver him again in His righteousness. He understood that God was the One behind it all. So, he gave the glory to the one to whom it was due and expected more. Friend, we need this attitude and faith too.

How can we become a wonder and marvel to our world?

1. Make God your number 1 love.
2. Recognize His hand upon your life and His works in your life (vs. 7).
3. Declare your trust in Him (vs. 7).
4. Ask Him to deliver you. When God does it, you would know because you have asked Him to step in, in the first place (vs.12).
5. Affirm your allegiance to Him through your praise and worship (vs. 24).
6. Confess your expectations of God’s intervention and help (vs.21).
7. Prophecy and declare your expected deliverance (vs.24).
