Make It A Habit

Psalm 69:30-36
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull, which has horns and hooves.
Psalm 69:30 -31

As we begin the new week and move into our theme study for the quarter, I encourage you to make praise a habit. Let praise be a natural response from your heart towards God.

A habit is defined as a usual way of behaving. It is something one does often. When praise becomes our habit, it will be a holy addiction. With this, we will be able to give thanks to God without ceasing. We will be able to pause in our daily activities and say, “Thank You, Jesus; Praise You, Jesus; I love You, Jesus”.

The psalmist writes, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also
shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull, which has horns and hooves” (Psalm 69:30 31). This is what I want
to do. I want to please the Lord with my praise.

Praising God is of high value than bringing big offerings without thankfulness attached to it. It is better than sacrifice or works without love for God. When we make praise and thanksgiving a habit, it will become a witness to the glory of God and a testimony to His wonders in our lives. Think of these things. Shalom.
