Matthew 3:16-17
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (Matthew 3:17).

Having looked at some of the characteristics of open heaven, we will look at other reasons why we need to pray for it.

An open heaven guarantees a sweatless living because God’s grace is resting on you. This does not mean you will never have challenges but it does mean that you are able to handle things with grace. You will experience the peace that comes from the One who rules in the affairs of men.

Open heaven gives access to the presence of God and the voice of God. Prayer and personal communion becomes beautiful and enjoyable. In addition, those who have access to the voice of God will do exploits because they know Him as He reveals Himself and His plans to them on regular basis. See Daniel 11:32.

Friend, when you live this way you cannot be hidden because God’s presence radiates through you and you become the carrier of God’s aroma. The Bible says, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14).

Some people or institutions may not approve of you but they cannot deny the fact that there is something unusual about you. Living this way would further help us to live in dominion. Friend, I want to live under an open heaven. How about you? Let us pray.
