Let All The World Look To Me

Isaiah 45:14-25
Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other.
Isaiah 45:22.

I implore you to read today’s passage again and again. Several truths are hidden in it. Of significance is our focal
text. In it we are told God’s intention and verdict about the salvation of men.

The Lord says, “Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other”. (Isaiah 45:22, NLT). The
reason for this is stated in the next verse. “I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go
back on my word: every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess allegiance to me” (Isaiah 45:23).

Since God cannot lie, and His word is true, then we need to pray that our world will realize who the true God is. It
appears that the challenge for the unsaved is knowing who the true God is. Jesus affirmed who the true God is when He said, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3).

We have been commissioned to share the good news. Let us play our role. God will save them by His word and Spirit. He will help them to acknowledge and believe the truth. May the veil covering the minds of men be removed to see the Lord Jesus as the Son of the Living God. Shalom.
