I Will Not Be Rebellious
Isaiah 30:1-7
Woe to the rebellious children, says the Lord, Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin (Isaiah 30:1).
T0day, we will pray about the days to come. We do not want to be rebellious children. We do not want to go down to Egypt for help when the Lord has not commanded us to do so. Where the Lord leads, the Lord will protect and also provide. But when we lead ourselves, untold hardship, distress and pain may await us. Let us pray.
1. Thank God for the privilege to pray and call upon His name.
2. Confess your sins and ask the Lord for forgiveness.
3. Pray that the Lord will help you to seek His face for guidance before you make decisions.
4. Ask the Lord to order your steps every day.
5. Pray that the Lord will reveal any wrong decision you have made.
6. Pray for the grace to retrace your steps if you have left the path He has charted for your life.
7. Confess any allegiance to another god or anyone who represents Egypt or Rahab in your life.
8. Come against any plan of the enemy to cause you to make decisions that would lead to financial loss.
9. Pray for your family members too. Ask the Lord to help them not to make decisions that could harm the entire family both nuclear and extended.
10. Pray that more people will discover Fresh Bread daily devotional online and be blessed by it.
11. Thank God for answered prayers.
