Micah 7:11-20
I, the Lord, will work miracles just as I did when I led you out of Egypt.
Micah 7:15, CEV.

The best a people can do in the time of judgment and moral decadence is to call on God to show mercy and restore
righteousness. Micah prayed, the Lord answered him saying, “I, the Lord, will work miracles just as I did when I led you out of Egypt” (Micah 7:15, CEV). Friend, the Lord will hear us too. He will do mighty miracles in our time too.

Let us continue to pray. We are the watchmen He has set in the land. “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:6-7).

In another place, He promised, “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you” (Joel 2:25-26).

Let us do our part, repent and turn from our wicked ways. The Lord will heal our land. Then we can say like the people, “Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy” (Micah 7:18). Shalom.
