He Knows The Father
Luke 10;17-24
“…All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son.”
Luke 10:22
No one knows the Father as Jesus. He is the Son of God. The Jews of His days hated Him for this. The priests and
the scribes fought Him because of His claim to be the Son of God. The Pharisees and the Sadducees were not happy with Him either. Yet, He cannot deny Himself. He knew who He was and declared it: I am the Son of God. God is My Father.
In another place, He told them, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”
(John 14:6). That caused Him great troubles, but He maintained His stand. In John 5:17, He told them, “My Father
has been working until now, and I have been working”.
In today’s passage, He laid claim to absolute knowledge and access to the Father. “All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him” (Luke 10:22).
What more evidence do we need? None. No other god or religious leader has said this about their relationship with the Creator, the eternal Father. This is another reason we need to be settled in our faith and know that we serve the authentic God and Savior. Shalom.
