Grace In The Wilderness

Jeremiah 31:1-6
The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness Israel, when I went to give him rest ( Jeremiah 31:2).

We will round off the quarter with words of hope and encouragement gleaned from Jeremiah Chapters 30 and 31.

I believe that God can do anything. His power and love for us cause Him to meet us at the point of our need even when we have done wrong. One of the things God does in the season of restoration is to give grace in the wilderness; to cause uncommon things to happen in places men least expected. Our God specializes in bringing water in the desert.

Therefore, I am not surprised when I read that those who experienced destruction will find grace in the wilderness. The Bible says, “Those who survive the coming destruction will find blessings even in the barren land, for I will give rest to the people of Israel” (Jeremiah 31:2, NLT).

Friend, I believe God that we will find blessing in our barren land. I believe that God will smile on us again. His favor will rest on us. He will lead us to our breakthrough. All we have to do is to seek His face in faith.

Like the Israelites, we are God’s people. God wants to restore us so that we can find rest. In any area you are experiencing a drought, barrenness or wilderness, God can cause you to find grace. Ask for grace today. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Pray and ask the Lord to visit you with His grace.
  • Ask the Lord to pour His blessings on every barren land in your life, home and family.

Hymn:  I’ve a message from the Lord, hallelujah! (Look and live).
