God Needs You

Joshua 1:6
Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.(NLT)

Continuing from where we stopped yesterday, I want to add that not only do we need faith in the presence of God to face life’s situations, we must be courageous too. We must be ready to face danger and challenges without fear.

Every purpose of God will require courageous men to fulfill it. His promises to Moses and the Israelites to be fulfilled, God needed a man who had what it would take to overcome giants and lead the people fearlessly. That was why He called Joshua to do the job. He told him, “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them” (Joshua 1:6, NLT).

Friend, God will use you to do the work that is required in these end times too. He will not send angels to do missions, discover new vaccines or meet the need of others around us. It is you and I. Angels have their roles and we have ours too. Let us be strong and courageous. Let us be willing to work, do what we need to do and achieve the plan that God has laid in our hearts.

Be courageous. Face opposition and adversity fearlessly. Let us rise and do the work. God does not speak without a reason. See every challenge from God’s perspective. They are stepping stones to victory. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Praise God for this revelation and the need to be courageous.
  • Pray for yourself.
  • Pray for me and my family to continue to be courageous as we break new grounds to fulfill God’s purpose.

Song: He is able more than able.
