Psalm 116:1-19
The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me (Psalm 116:6 , NIV ).

It is good to praise the Lord and give Him thanks for all He has done for us. God has been good to us. We are still alive and have survived the heat of the recession and will continue to survive as the Lord opens our eyes to see how we can sow our seed like Isaac and reap a harvest that would feed us and our family.

Friend, let us make this month, the month of thanksgiving. Each day you will find a reason to praise the Lord. In order to return to your rest and be thankful, you need to take time to count your blessings. If you do this, you can see how good God has been to you. You will also see how good He is right now and this would help you to live in anticipation of His goodness in the future.

Many times we do not see what God has delivered us from until we pause to take stock. We go out of our homes and always return. Yet, not everyone who goes out returns. Not everyone who sleeps, wakes up. But we did because the Lord sustained us. See Psalm 3:3

Bless the Lord each day of this month. You will identify many reasons to praise Him than you know right now.
