Expect Your Change
Job 14:14 -17
If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes. (Job 14:14).
The Bible makes us to understand that we live in the world but we are not of the world. It is wise to live on the principle of where we are from and use it to control where we live right now.
Anything contrary to the influence of God and heaven must be brought under His control. That is why we are advised to pray “thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10, KJV). Thisyear, your change will come if you choose to live in this principle.
What you believe God for will happen. However, do not base your expectations on the help from your friends or family. Rather, base it on the mercies and loving-kindness of God. He is the One who will decide whom He would use to help you.
Job prayed, “All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes” (Job 14:14). Job expected God to show up. Are you expecting God to show up? Do you hope against hope that something good will happen in your lifethis year?
Remember, in the kingdom of God, believing precedes seeing. May the Lord help you to live under the influence of heaven in Jesus’ Name. Shalom.
