Ethiopia Will Be Punished
Isaiah 18:1-7
All you people of the world, everyone who lives on the earth when I raise my battle flag on the mountain,
look! When I blow the ram’s horn, listen!
Isaiah 18:3.
God leaves no stone unturned as He measures out the judgment against the nations. I laughed when I read the
destruction of the Ethiopians. I identified and understood who they are.
The Bible says Ethiopia “sends ambassadors in swift boats down the river. Go, swift messengers! Take a message to a
tall, smooth-skinned people, who are feared far and wide for their conquests and destruction, and whose land is divided by rivers” (Isaiah 18:2).
Friend, God knows us through and through. He knows your height, the color of your skin and what you can do because He sees your heart. The Lord spoke to these smooth skin people, “I will judge you. No matter who you rely on and depend on, I will judge you”.
I seem to hear God saying the same thing to the wicked men who are invading our land and seeking to destroy us; “I will judge you.” I believe if we will put our house in order and cry unto the Lord, He will answer us and mete out justice.
Sin and evil do not exist forever. God has the prongs in His hands to hook the neck of any strange god and leader when the time is ripe. See Isaiah 18:4. Let us do the needful – humble ourselves and cry unto the Lord to save us. Stand firm in faith, God will answer us. Shalom.
